Found in 133 Collections and/or Records:
the collection consists of photocopies of original newspaper clippings of articles about NBIT and its faculty, staff, students and alumni. The origin of each clipping is not recorded, however, most were from the New Bedford Standard Times. It is not know who compiled the collection. The originals were photocopied and discarded.
Collection consists of bound scrapbooks of different shapes and sizes containing pasted in or bound in samples of fabrics collected from a number of manufacturers. Most samples are of cotton fabrics, using a variety of weave techniques. Some are identified, but most are not.
The collection consists of newspaper clippings, most from the Fall River Herald News, pertaining to Bradford Durfee Textile School and later iterations. The clippings from 1910 through February 1928 are pasted into scrapbooks and are very brittle. They should be handled with care. Clippings from February 1928 through 1948 are photocopies of the originals. The original scrapbooks for these years were presumably discarded. There is one gap in the records: 1914-1918.
