Scope and Contents

The collection consists of 87 surveys completed by graduates of the Bradford Durfee College of Technology from the years 1932 - 1956. The surveys were conducted in 1957 by Arthur D. Little of Cambridge and asked for opinions on the usefulness of courses to the career path, as well as information about the graduates’ employment record. Some correspondence is included.

Scope and Contents The collection consists of the Advisory Board meeting minutes and agendas; program materials, including videotape recordings, from 1999-2003; brochures and promotional flyers; and limited correspondence from the files of John K. Scope and Contents All original minutes are maintained by the Boston Office of the President of the University of Massachusetts, which also provides access to minutes of meetings and policy on the web site (back to February 1999). The copies in this collection are maintained for the convenience of patrons on the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth campus. The collection consists of communication records between the Desmond and Lord firm and the Westcott Construction Company, along with several blueprints for the Library Communications Center and Campanile. The papers document structural changes, design plans and instructions, and daily progress reports.

As records of the treasurer of the organization, the collection includes financial records, meeting notices, programs of events, bulletins, correspondence, copies of bylaws and revisions of bylaws, and some documents pertaining to the creation of SMTI. Bulletins and some earlier alumni association documents (1953-1959) were transferred from the restrospective BDCT records in the Archives and Special Collections.
