the collection consists of photocopies of original newspaper clippings of articles about NBIT and its faculty, staff, students and alumni. The origin of each clipping is not recorded, however, most were from the New Bedford Standard Times. It is not know who compiled the collection. The originals were photocopied and discarded.

The collection consists of 236 attendance and grade registers maintained by instructors in textiles for both day and evening classes offered at the Institute between 1909 and 1968. Most registers are standard “Massachusetts School Registers” supplied by the state department of education. Instructors’ names are handwritten on the front, in most cases; some registers were shared by more than one instructor teaching the same class.
