Portuguese-American calendar collection

Collection consists of tear-away calendars advertising Portuguese-American businesses in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and California. These calendars were commonly given to customers by businesses as promotional merchandise. It was not unusual within the Portuguese-American community to send these calendars to friends and family in Portugal, where they were displayed in homes.
