The majority of this design book has typescript faculty notes pasted onto the pages. Half of the book is blank, and there are several pages where the typescript has been ripped out.

Scope and Contents From the Collection:

The collection consists of loose notes, bound lecture notes and pattern books compiled by students in a variety of textile design and manufacturing courses. Most were completed in the 1910s and 1920s, but some date to the 1940s and 1950s. The textile design books and pattern books are imprinted with the name of the school. These were standard books, especially designed, and sold blank to students for the purpose of completing assignments.
