Biographical / Historical
Ellen Rantz taught art to students in grades 4 through 6 in the Carver and Plymouth School districts for 25 years, from 1977 to 2003. She was a graduate of the Swain School of Design, which she attended in 1959-1960. She also attended Bridgewater State University, graduating in 1977 with a masters in Teaching Art. After her retirement she moved to Vero Beach, Florida and became active in the local art scene, as director of the Foyer Art Gallery, and as a member of the Vero Beach Museum of Art and the Vero Beach Art Club. As an artist, her preferred medium is pen and ink on paper.
