Biographical / Historical
William Curran Wild Jr. served as Southeastern Massachusetts University's first Dean of Administration from 1974 to 1983. Serving under the president of the university, which for all of his tenure was Donald E. Walker, he was responsible for the service units on campus, such as the business office, bookstore, and human resources. In contrast, the Dean of Faculty at this time oversaw the academic units, including the library. He served as President from 1983-1984 after Walker resigned, and under the next president, John Brazil, he was the Executive Vice President (1984-1990).
