Blumberg Family Photographs

 Collection — Multiple Containers
Identifier: PC-022

Dates

  • 1920 - 1945

Biographical / Historical

Little is known of the Blumberg family. Through genealogical research we have determined that Ida Blumberg, who lived on Monson Street in Brockton, emigrated from Russia in 1902 or 1903. Her husband may have worked in the shoe industry. Most of the photographs in this collection depict family and friends. There are a number of portraits of Brockton High School students dated 1920, presumably her circle of friends in Brockton.
