UMass Dartmouth Division of Administration and Finance, Office of Budget and Financial Planning records

The Division of Administration and Finance is responsible for managing the human, physical, and technological resources of UMass Dartmouth, including a $210 million operating budget, 75% of which is funded by non-state dollars. The Office of Budget and Financial Planning, a part of this division, provides technical assistance, training and support to University administrators and its departments in developing and implementing short and long-range financial plans for the campus. The financial part of this department was previously known as the Office of Fiscal Affairs. The Division of Administration and Finance is responsible for managing: $210 million operating budget - 75% of which is funded by non-state dollars;600 faculty members;800 staff members; 710-acre main campus valued at $250 million; 85 classrooms and 88 labs and studios; satellite facilities in North Dartmouth, New Bedford, Fall River and Fairhaven; a comprehensive technology infrastructure; and the Police force - full service law enforcement for public safety.
