Administrative History
The Publications Department facilitates production of nearly all major print publications produced on campus. Consisting of a staff of skilled designers and writers, the department is now under the Vice Chancellor for University Marketing, but was, during the creation of this accession under the Office of News and Public Information. Their role has been to enforce campus-wide graphic standards that distinguish the campus as a valuable component of the UMass brand while maintaining its unique mission. The publications team provided a full range of design, writing, editing, and production services for campus clients.
