Administrative Note

The Labor Education Center is an outreach program of the University of Massachusetts Dartouth. It was formed in 1975 by leaders in the local labor movement, the community and the university. Governance is by an Advisory Board. The formation of the Center was the work of International Lady Garment Workers Union District Manager Arnold M. Dubin, who died shortly after. In 1991 the center added on a Labor Extension Service.
