Biographical / Historical
Peter Johnson was founder of Living Folk Records and Concerts Inc., based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As president, he organized some thirty folk music concerts a year for ten years while producing seven records. He also hosted many “open sing” events in the Boston area, most notably at Passim’s in Harvard Square (now Club Passim). In 1975 he received the Eisteddfod Award for his contribution to the field of folk music.
