Ahavath Achim Sisterhood records
The bulk of this collection consists of by-laws, member lists, financial records, dues, bulletins, donation records, events, and other publications representing the Ahavath Achim Sisterhood. The majority of these records fall within the years 1996 and 2003.
Leon Jedwab family papers
This collection includes copies of photos and documents from the personal papers of Leon Jedwab.
Shirley B. Cohen family papers
Collection includes a 3 scrapbooks, spanning the years of 1919 to 1992 with the bulk of the collection from 1942-1970. Scrapbooks are composed of newspaper clippings that documents social events in the Jewish community in New Bedford. The remainder of the collection is primarily composed of pamphlets belonging to Bertha Cohen documenting her involvement in community groups. Also included are some photographs and information on Peckham West Cemetery.
Jewish Senior Citizens of New Bedford records
The collection contains the Jewish Senior Citizens of New Bedford’s charter, Constitution and Bylaws spanning 1972-1981, and meeting minutes with related attachments spanning 1972-1980.
Jewish Federation of Greater New Bedford records
The collection consists mostly of the administrative and board records of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Bedford. It also includes some photographs and a complete run of the Jewish Messenger, a newspaper published by the JFGNB.
Archives of the Center for Jewish Culture local families collection
Collection consists of files compiled on local Jewish families from the New Bedford and Fall River areas. Files include newspaper clippings, genealogical charts, and photographs.
