Jewish War Veterans of the United States and Ladies Auxiliary, Fall River Post 168 records
The collection consists mainly of scrapbooks kept annually by the historians of the men’s and women’s groups. Scrapbooks include flyers, certificates, correspondence, newsletters, news clippings and photographs documenting the activities of Post 168. Arranged chronologically.
“Jews of New Bedford, Massachusetts” newspaper clippings and notes
Notebook compiled by Shirley Cohen documenting the history of the Jewish community in New Bedford. Entries were either clipped directly from newspapers or transcribed in typescript. Some handwritten notes and photocopies from biographical dictionaries are also included. Entries span the years 1898-1967.
Julius Picard papers
Papers include photographs, official documents (passports, naturalization papers, proof of medical degree), artifacts and a family tree.
Lipp family papers
The collection consists of some original documents, newspaper clippings about all members of the Lipp family, a scrapbook following the radio career of Stanley Lipp, several official citations, photographs, and an LP recording of a Friday night service at Tifereth Israel.
Hebrew Ladies Helping Hand Society of Fall River records
The collection consists of scrapbook/photo albums documenting annual gatherings and events, record books of meeting minutes, and several versions/copies of the Articles of Organization.
Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, New Bedford Chapter records
Collection consists of meeting minutes, and printed materials, including flyers, invite cards, and programs. Also includes some correspondence.
Hebrew Free Loan Society of New Bedford records
The collection contains documents, letters, photographs, cancelled checks, receipts, and lists that pertain to the Hebrew Free Loan Society of New Bedford, and especially to the disposition of its remaining funds in 2002.

It is divided into 5 series, administrative information, school program materials, educational materials and memorabilia.
Camp Avoda (Middleborough, Mass.) yearbooks
This collection consists of yearbooks created almost entirely by the campers themselves; usually distributed to the campers and counselors after each year has been completed. The yearbooks in this collection come from the years 1977, 1979, 1980, 1983.
