Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

Collection includes a 3 scrapbooks, spanning the years of 1919 to 1992 with the bulk of the collection from 1942-1970. Scrapbooks are composed of newspaper clippings that documents social events in the Jewish community in New Bedford. The remainder of the collection is primarily composed of pamphlets belonging to Bertha Cohen documenting her involvement in community groups. Also included are some photographs and information on Peckham West Cemetery.

38 Pages (Scrapbook) : Brown embossed cardboard covers. Pages are very brittle and removed from the bindings by the archivist.
