Biographical / Historical
Douglas Richardson, Chairman of the SMU Board of Trustees, appointed the following trustees to serve on this committee on June 10, 1971: Albert Goldstein, Chair, Bernard Baker, Adele Simmons, Luis V. Souza and William O. Taylor. The purpose of the committee was to solicit ideas from all constituencies on campus as to the appropirate governance structure for the interim period after the non-renewal of President Joseph Driscoll effective August 31, 1972.
