Keiles, Joel

Scope and Contents Collection consists of 8 items, mostly notebooks and texts used by Keiles as a student in the Textile Engineering major. Courses represented include Designing, Engineering drawing, Cloth Analysis, Microscopy, and Cotton Yarn Preparation. Several of the books contain actual cloth samples, with their analysis. In lieu of textbooks, which were not always readily available in these subjects, instructors distributed mimeographed sheets, which the students then bound into texts. There are 2...
