Collection consists of files compiled during the attorney’s research into the LAPD’s handling of the case, arranged alphabetically by topic. Includes audiotape of police logs, audiotape cassette interviews, and a card file indexing various individuals, their locations and at the time of the shooting, and what they heard.

Scope and Contents The collection is divided into six series: Nelson’s subject files (Series I); correspondence files (Series II); newspaper clippings (Series III); poetry by Nelson (Series IV); audio and video recordings (Series V); and the records of the Kennedy Assassination Truth Committee and the Inquiry and Accountability Foundation (known as the Foundation for Truth and Accountability from 1986-1988) (Series VI). Scope and Contents

The collection consists of campaign memorabilia for both the Kennedy and McGovern campaigns, 1968 Democratic National Convention ephemera, press lists and correspondence. Of note is correspondence highlighting the need for staff to obtain new jobs after the assassination.
